I have had a Facebook page for about two months.  I have watched a tutorial on googledocs. I want to learn the purpose of  these programs and how they will simplify my life.  I want a basic knowledge of what my kids are using. I have learned to create a document that can be accessed by co-teachers and colleagues. Are all of these programs acceptable for use on school computers?
I know about wiki pages, delicious, and google docs  same   I would like to learn how this could benefit my students.  Is there time available to learn more?
I know how to access my delicious, ning, wiki, and grou.ps and can state uses for each.  I want to learn ways to incorporate some of these tools into my planning and teaching without further complicating my life.  I have learned that using these tools can raise student achievement if proper training is included.  How can this raise the achievement of   Kindergarten students?
I know how to organize my bookmarks into topics using the delicious tool  I want to know more about the xtranormal program for role playing activities I have learned to use the text-to-movie program xtranormal

This class has been a very valuable experience.  My comfort level with the tools I already had some awareness with has increased, while my awareness of what else is available has also increased.  I will use these tools as I feel appropriate in my Kindergarten classroom, and use others for professional development purposes.  The task of preparing  young children for the world that lies ahead of them is an especially  important yet scary one right now.  If my own knowledge and awareness do not continue to advance then I cannot be of help to them.  Although this seems at times like a mountain that can never be climbed, having the time to learn and use tools such as these puts me on the path I want to be on.  Thanks!
